Fashion Stalking: Jeremy Piven

Jeremy Piven has been a style icon for me for a number of years. Best known for his character Ari Gold from the series Entourage, his ensemble consists of both trendy and mature. Every outfit he wears displays a sense of confidence, creativity and a bit of risk.  This I find very sexy. I love the way he can take a potentially boring look and turn it into glam red carpet ready. There's something about the way he dresses that doesn't take away from who he is but only adds to it. He's personality comes out in a stylish, fun and creative way and allows his charisma to shine. As a man in my forties I have to say there aren't many stars that inspire me the way Jeremy Piven does. This look caught my eye. It could have started and ended with just a t-shirt and jeans. However, the addition of the fedora and some accessories around the wrist and neck add just the right amount of finishing touches. Jeremy likes to add simple accessories that complete his every look. But no one would ever hesitate in saying that his best accessory is his smile!

Fashion Stalking: Zac Efron

At first I thought that Zac Efron was too young for me to Fashion Stalk. But then I realized that I was back to my old was of limited thinking and imagination. However, lately Zac has appeared to have matured playing roles in movies that has reflected this. Zac's style sense has also matured making him one of Hollywood's most fashion forward stars.  I feel he has transcended his boyish youthful style to one that appeals to most men. I have to admit that what drew me  to choose Zac is that there is this youthful side of me that loves to come out from time to time. Dressing like Zac allows me to tap into that youthful side of myself allowing me to have more fun with what I wear.  Zac's style is multidimensional and his looks can cross over to different times of the day and for multiple types of events. I loved this outfit because it can be worn during the day or on a night on the town. However, if you're looking to keep the paparazzi away then this outfit might not be for you!

Fashion Stalking: William Levy

Picking William Levy for my first celebrity to Fashion Stalk was a no brainier. Known in the Latin world as a very popular soap opera star and then latter got much of the rest of the worlds attention in Jennifer Lopez's video "I'm Into You." Following this he became a household name for his hip shaking and shirtless dances on Dancing With the Stars. This man is not only easy on the eyes but he can move too! William Levy also has a great style sense. But lets face it he can rock a pair of sweat pants and an old t-shirt.

Fashion Stalking for me is about stepping outside my box and wearing clothes that I'd normally never consider wearing and William Levy's many fashionable looks put my wheels into motion and off the mall. All I needed was one unique look and something that really appealed to me and I found it. I may be able to dress like him but now I want to learn how to move like him too!

Fashion Stalking: More then Just Dressing like a Celebrity

Fashion Stalking is a phrase I created that refers to picking a celebrity  and copying their style of dressing. You  might think this is just blog about how to dress like a star. To a certain extent your right. However, the one thing I learned from this whole journey is just how much my connection to spirit came to grow through this whole process. I was at a point in my life where I was bored with my closet and nothing seemed appealing to me. Feeling little inspiration I'd walk into stores and try on clothes but unsure as to whether or not something looked good on me. I blamed it on turning 40 and feeling like it was a midlife identity crisis. I know that feeling well. I've had many. So I started to look at different celebrities for inspiration. I decided to set out to look like some of Hollywood's most famous men. There was this part of me that wanted to look and feel like a star and then there was also this part of me that needed to grow and expand my personal awareness of who I was. What I learned from this process is one of several things. The first is that the way I viewed myself was a reflection of how I shopped for myself. I saw myself with limitations. The way I felt was not like the infinite being with unlimited potential that is the real me. The real you. And so when I shopped I looked at clothes and I's say things like "oh I could never where that." But when I started Fashion Stalking I started to open up and expand in not just the way I dressed but the way I felt. All of a sudden I was shopping in stores I would never go into or wear clothes I'd never think we're meant for me. I never used to see myself as someone who is 'star quality' and so I shopped and lived that way too. This has resulted in a huge energetic shift. All of a sudden I see things with wider eyes and I am able to think beyond the thoughts of limitations that once created a very small world for me. Now the world does really seem limitless. I feel this sense of expansion.

The other aspect of this experience that surprised me even further is the depth in which my relationship with my Angels and God has grown. There is nothing we can't ask our divine support for help with and shopping is no different. I discovered I had shopping Angels! And before I head out to the malls I set the intention by asking my Angels to help me find not only the clothes I'm looking for but for a very good price. And each time my Angels have come through for me! This whole process is another example how when we set our intentions and ask for help it does come for us. Once our intention has been made we have to just let go, trust and know that without a doubt our Angels are there to help us and that includes shopping. They can even help you find great deals!

I hope that you too find some of these clothes take you on your own journey. A journey that can only lead to growth in many aspects of your life too.
Angel Blessings to ALL
